What does this word mean? To be in a relationship with a person is to be willing to understand the other person. Not only to understand the other person, but learn to be with the other person. This means having to make sacrifices, to be patient, to be conscious. I’m not saying you have to lay down and pretend to be dead. Have no voice, of course not. Otherwise, there is no relationship. The other person must also give back the same. Speak it.

There is this quiet and unspoken understanding, and it just works. Sometimes you have to be the bigger person for both of you, and that position changes time after time. You become idle and restless, there are moments of dullness, but this is what you must conquer. See the moment for what it is and that it will soon pass. Because if you wait just a little bit longer you will be reminded of why you are together.

A commitment to another human being, if its going to last and be raw and full of truth, you must be true to yourself. Nothing is bad or good. Choices will be made, mistakes will be had. and this is truth, if you can’t take every experience and see what piece of light you can take from it, you can’t survive. You will fall in and out of love over and over again, if you make it that long. And its beautiful, it will feel as when you first met, but better. I’m talking about a healthy relationship. Do something you love and allow him to do the same. You are a partnership.
